I think this dragon is definitely showing some growth comparing it to butterfree. While the previous fly-eyed insectine dragon had smooth eyes, this one's got detailed compound eyes. I'm really liking that cloak of deep, rich, purple skin on its wings there. You guys are getting really good with putting skin on bones. With all that purple fuzz, this thing looks like somebody dropped a camel, Barney, and the Loch Ness monster into a blender that proceeded to spew brilliance. I also like how the dragon looks kind of burnt from apparent attempts to approach the light.
Pretty humorous scene here. It kind of reminds me of a scene done with ants in The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, only enacted by the dust bunnies from The Big Comfy Couch. And I love the highlights on the venonats' fur from the glow of the sparkling electric-blue lantern, which is just plain spectacular.
That paras's expression is hilarious. I can just hear all the angry rants and swears that little guy is clearly bursting into.
